The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has designated the month of January as Radon Action Month.
Radon is a naturally-caused, odorless and tasteless radioactive gas, which can be present in air or your water supply. Radon can increase the risk of cancer if the levels in your home exceed the recommended levels as outlined by the EPA. The EPA has outlined four steps for homeowners to take action against Radon this month. The first step is to test your home for radon. We encourage you to come by our showroom off Route 109A in Wolfeboro to pick up your free water test kit. You can also email or call our office at (888)551-4545 with your questions and concerns.
